About Me
I am a nature enthusiast, holding a masters degree in Wildlife Management. Throughout my career, I have developed an interest in birding and teaching. On my free days, I often find myself stepping out into the forest, trying to look for or learn something new, other times, I indulge myself in learning to design, get social media savvy, or up my art skills. While I enjoy being indoors, I believe humans were made like birds, free to move, learn and explore, and that is what I too try and embrace.
People of the Forest is my personal venture, where me and my friend are building a community of wildlife enthusiasts, providing them with the opportunity to explore forests, learn more about wildlife, educate themselves and conserve nature. My role at People of the Forest is to manage clients for collaboration, manage participants and events, back-end work, marketing and on and off create content
From a young age, my fascination with animals began with a love for cats. This early passion naturally led me to pursue a bachelor's degree in zoology, where I deepened my understanding of the animal kingdom. During my studies, I had the opportunity to participate in internships that exposed me to a wide range of species, and it was through these experiences that I began to develop a particular interest in birds. This newfound passion pushed me to go further and step out of my comfort zone by enrolling in a master’s program in Wildlife Management (WLM) in Karnataka. This period of learning and fieldwork challenged me in new ways, broadening both my knowledge and perspective on conservation and wildlife protection.
After completing my studies, I found myself returning back to my homeland to the essence of what ignited my journey—my unwavering love for wildlife in my neighborhood forest. This brought me full circle, and I decided to channel my passion into action by starting a community dedicated to wildlife conservation and education, fueled by people like me, hence the name 'People of the Forest'.
Now, with this community growing, I am ready to explore whatever comes next, eager to continue contributing to the world of wildlife and environmental stewardship.
